I made it through the first Camp Gladiator camp of 2017! There were definitely times that I felt like my progress wasn’t that great…but there were a few times that I thought…hey…look how much better I am doing than before. I remember one specific time that we were doing walking lunges and for the first time I could make my stride a little longer and deeper than before! I still have SOOOOO far to go…but, hey I am making progress!
This month starts Camp Gladiator CAMP #2 of 2017! And it happens to be a CG Fit Camp…what does that mean? It means that we get to see what kind of progress we make in the 4-5 weeks of camp. We do a fitness test at the beginning of camp to measure where we are starting, we do an InBody assessment that measures all our fat/muscles (fun times) and we make changes with our eating to see what kind of results we get at the end of the month. It is a great opportunity to be really focused on making good changes with your diet and workout. I participated in one similar last year, but didn’t focus as much on the eating as I had wanted. This time, that is my main focus!
We have done Whole 30 before and I had great results, so I have wanted to see if when I lost if I lost muscle or fat? So, Kevin and I have decided to do a whole 30 diet for the 30 days we are doing CG Fit:) Whole 30 is pretty extreme because you can’t have grains, legumes, dairy, sugar or alcohol. Don’t freak out…it’s okay:) You CAN have protein, veggies, fruit, good fats and LOTS of water! Last time we did it, we had great results and in the end felt SO much better…it also helped me get rid of my sugar/bread cravings. So, that is what we are doing…I would love for you to join us…I will be posting our progress and some of our meals on here, Instagram and Facebook.
