My Camp Gladiator Experience – Day 2…I made it!

Camp Gladiator - Day 2 - Not So Crunchy Mom

Well, Camp Gladiator Day 2 was a little harder then Day 1…which is strange to me…but it could have had something to do with the fact that I could barely move since CG yesterday:(  My legs are SO SORE!  But, I had convinced my friend Karen to come to camp today, so I was excited to have another friend with me.  We had a different trainer today, Allyson…she was great and super peppy:)  The only thing I hold against her is that we had to do SO MUCH running / fast walking today.  I know that I will appreciate it…and will get better…just wish I was already there!

Overall, my 2nd day was great…for some reason it was harder than the first for me…but I still did it.  I had to modify most of the exercises, had to stop during the rotations, had to walk instead of jog and even came in last a few times…but, it was okay.  I feel good that I just kept trying and didn’t quit!  Again my body was even more sore…if that is possible…but I was at the 5,000 steps point after my workout this morning and I thought the 10,000 steps goal on my new Fitbit charge HR (that my hubby got me for Christmas) was attainable.  So, after picking up my kiddos from school, they rode bikes and I walked a bit and then I finished up walking around my kitchen today to finally meet my goal for the first time!  I have to say that I might have been trying to finally match up to my hubby who has easily hit his goal the past 2 days.

Well, I am off to early sleep to get ready for Day 3!  Praying that I will still be able to move tomorrow after being still for 7 hours of sleep:)  How are your goals coming along the past 2 days?  I would love to hear what you are working on.

  1. You are awesome!! Usually the second and third days are the hardest, that’s when the soreness really kicks in! Just get pass the third day and you will be golden!

  2. Good for you!!!! The hardest part is starting. Or maybe returning. I often give up before I get back in and I need to stop. #noexcuses right? Keep going! Can’t wait to hear more results.
